You might live in LA if...
... you immediately run to your leather jackets the second it drops below 80°.
... you can't wait to wear boots with bare legs (in November).
... you feel like you have to cram "all autumn in a day" because it might be hot again tomorrow.
... you layer all your jackets and coats over tee shirts and tank tops.
... your seasons have more to do with your wardrobe than the weather!
The above obviously describes me! I've been deliriously happy to have overcast mornings that last a little longer each day - we're slowly creeping toward a SoCal winter! a high of 70 might not seem very cool to the rest of the world, and it's not like I'm shivering in my ankle boots, but it's cool enough to layer up a smidge without overheating.
To celebrate, I went full-tilt gloomy with this outfit: gray, soft navy, black, and taupe. They may not be traditionally "happy" colors, and they aren't particularly uplifting or friendly when it comes to working with clients - but sometimes it works out that my outfit can 100% about making me happy, and today was one of those days.
Watch out if we get a serious downpour out here - I just might throw a gloomy parade. :)
