Happy Mother's Day!
Last month, my sister and I went out to see my Dad in Kansas City and were able to have lunch with our Italian mama - and her mama, too! Afterward, we popped across the street to a local gift shop to browse jewelry and accessories.
I had never been shopping with a grandparent before!
It was so much fun to shop with three generations of family, especially when there is a long line of hair professionals involved. Both of the gorgeous ladies on the right are so talented when it comes to color and proportions. Our nonna even found us matching blush pink necklaces (so cute with her colorful top and pretty coral lipstick).
I have to say, there is nothing quite like learning about the girlie stuff like hair and style from fabulous female mentors!
Although I won't be back "home" on Sunday, I'm so grateful to have this memory to revisit on Mother's Day. Thank you, Andrea and Tillie, for welcoming my sister and me into your family without hesitation or reservation. We love you and wish you the best Mother's Day ever! Muah!
To my readers, I hope you have an amazing weekend with your own mamas and enjoy the wisdom they have to share.
