Brooks Brothers Spring Sale for Suits & Separates

Ladies, if you live somewhere warm like I do, now is the time to stock up on the stuff you can wear year round without boiling alive during your client lunches. Stores will be putting out their Fall/Winter offerings in July - and they are already blowing out their Spring wares. Luckily, this means you can nab great deals on the stuff you can wear right now... and, like, probably all through October.

Right now I'm most excited about Brooks Brothers, which is one of the few brands left catering to professional women who need to suit up now and again. Although they style many of their items as separates for the promotional pics, most of the jackets do have options for matching bottoms - some with skirt and pant options - and wow, many of the styles also come in petite! This season, Brooks Brothers is also expanding their color options a bit - I'm so used to all the shirting being limited to pastel stripes, but this year they have great selections in deeper colors as well. And don't forget the magic of dresses with sleeves. It's almost as if someone in their design department had to work at a corporate office once... ;)

As I mentioned above, I haven't historically had the right coloring to shop at Brooks Brothers that much, but I've always loved what I've bought from them. Their fabrics are top notch (a trench coat I used to have was lined in bemberg, similar to much pricier brands), their Non-Iron shirts stay crisp all day long, and their handbags always look and feel exquisite when I pet them in-store.

In case you don't have a BB near you, I'm about 5'4" with a 34" bust, and I own both size 2 and size 4 regular in their fitted shirts. But close well, but the 4 looks a touch more relaxed.

I have no affiliation with Brooks Brothers, and following the Polyvore links will not generate any commissions for me.
