Wyethwood Weavings

Back at the end of January, I introduced my Christmas MVP handwoven poncho... but I didn't know which hands had woven it. Well, the wait is finally over, and I'm thrilled to share the artist behind this beauty: Jennifer Miner of Wyethwood Weavings!

Now that I can stalk all the fabulosity on her website, I'm even more in love with the brand. Sometimes handmade items can skew too cutesy or rustic to be versatile, but these are truly sophisticated pieces that will look equally chic in full bohemian Free People mode as they will with a minimalist urban nomad ensemble.

And btw, the range doesn't stop at ponchos! I'm particularly excited to see the wraps, some of which have really convenient loops built in to keep the wrap wrapped exactly as you like it (perfect for a someone like me who has to move around a lot). Remember that I have also worn my poncho as a scarf, so I'm betting the wraps can transform into a ton of different things depending on which weight you get... scarf, pashmina, head wrap, sarong...

Definitely take a click over to Jennifer's store and take a look around - Mothers' Day is coming soon!

Special thanks to my fabulous photographer friend Qi Wong, who is a truly kind and sweet person in addition to being a severely talented force with a camera.
