Why am I leading today's OOTD with a huge shot of my crotch? Well, my lovely and fabulous friend Vicki let me know about this pair of Lucky Brand Lolita jeans in Mystic Road - and they are fantastic!

A couple of years ago, I had recommended a very similar gray skinny from American Eagle. Vicki and I both ended up owning that pair, so when she bought the Lolita as a backup for the AE, she shared the details with me. Just as promised, they are true to size (I am in a 27/4), with lots of good stretch - yet only 2% spandex, which means they aren't likely to grow 4 sizes after wearing them.

After a day of use, I'd say the fabric is soft and comfy enough to feel kind of like a jegging, yet the fit isn't at all skin-tight and jegging-like. They seem to have good recovery despite the stretch. I may end up taking them in at the waist a bit due to the high stretch, but other than that, they are pretty perfect out of the box!

As I type, the best price seems to be from Macy's, but sizes are limited. I nabbed mine on Black Friday via Amazon, where there are still many sizes in stock.

Thank you for my new jeans, my friend! I will think of you with every wear!
