To Style a Handbag Shoot

Occasion: ModJewel Handbag Photoshoot
Dress Code: Casual
Outdoor Temps: 71-59°F
Activity Level: Moderate
Wearing: Zara jacket (Zara), silk top with missing brand tag (flea market), Shotgun shell & crystal necklace (gift from a friend), vintage rifle strap (purchased long ago in Seattle), McGuire jeans (J. Crew), Report "Marks" booties (been so long I can't remember).

This was a comfy and fun outfit for a really fun day! Remember Eliana of Modjewel? Well, her modular handbag line is officially out and gaining traction, and so we decided to do a continuation post to show you guys everything the bags can do!

This was one day that was neither about myself or an individual client, but rather about my client's brand and her models, so my own outfit was all about practicality:

  • Jeans and a belt so I could bend and squat and reach easily.
  • Layers in case I got too hot or cold while moving and pinning clothes.
  • Comfortable shoes to walk to and from the car.
  • No extra bracelets or rings to avoid snagging clothes.
  • No-nonsense ponytail to keep the hair out of my face.

Or professional photos, shot by the fabulous Qi Wong, need time to be processed and edited, but for now here are a few of my own behind-the-scenes teaser shots. We got so many completely different looks with just two bags because of how they are able to transform!

Head on over to mymodjewel.com and on Instagram @ElianaGhantous to see more of the bags and to get a Modjewel of your very own! Keep in touch here for the update with Qi's gorgeous pics, an in-depth review of the bags, and even more BTS fun!
