This week, a client of mine was preparing for a dressy event, and I taught her my trick for putting on shapewear the quick and easy way. My client was so pleased that she insisted I create a post with instructions that can be easily saved and viewed for next time - so here you go!
This technique lets you move the shaper into place without fighting the garment’s efforts to... well, not let your body move out of place. Turning the shaper inside-out works around the sticky strips meant to prevent sliding, and pulling the bottom hem up first means the most whittled parts don’t have to suction your entire body just to get where they are supposed to go.
Please share with your lady friends, and let them know that shapers don’t have to go on like wet suits!
